Pressure imaging, when used appropriately, is an excellent tool for analysis of support surfaces performances relating to pressure, education and user understanding.

The proper set of equipment, along with visual evidence of effective pressure relieving techniques (such as leaning forward) will assist in prevention of skin breakdowns, or the ongoing treatment of existing skin breakdowns.
