The new aluminium Aero X combines unmistakable TiLite design elements with the convenience of a folding chair. Available with either fixed or swing away front end, the Aero X is an affordable everyday wheelchair that utilizes design and new features to ensure maximum function and durability. the Aero X incorporates all the design features of the 2GX but is made from aerospace grade aluminium. Now available with fold down back.
The Aero X features the new Tru-Fit clamp on component system which is made up of the Rigid Folding Mechanism (RFM), rear axle plate and front caster clamp.
These components all clamp onto the new Aero X frame instead of being bolted through. The result is 50% less holes in the frame, allowing for added strength as well as finite adjustments since there is no need to line up components with pre-drilled holes. This design innovation greatly improves the durability of the Aero X frame.
In addition, the Aero X folds 2" narrower than the Ti-Lite SX Series.
TiLite's exclusive Rigid Frame Mechanism (RFM) cross tube design, first developed for the TX, allows TiLite to incorporate one piece side frames into it's newest line of folding chairs. This innovation increases performance by reducing frame flex because the side frames are welded together, not bolted. TiLite's RFM cross tubes also feature snap in seat saddles that lock into place, helping the Aero X to achieve near rigid chair performance.
