The new 2GX titanium folding frame ulitizes state of the art materials and design elements to maximise performance, function and durability. By combining TiLite's Tru-Fit component system and signature Bullet caster housing with a unique curved axle plate, the 2GX is adjustable as you need it to be. Now available with fold down back.
The 2GX features the new Tru-Fit clamp on component system which is made up of the Rigid Folding Mechanism (RFM), rear axle plate and front caster clamp.
These components all clamp onto the new 2GX frame instead of being bolted through. The result is 50% less holes in the frame, allowing for added strength as well as finite adjustments since there is no need to line up components with pre-drilled holes. This design innovation greatly improves the durability of the 2GX frame.
In addition, the 2GX folds 2" narrower than the Ti-Lite SX Series.
TiLite's exclusive Rigid Frame Mechanism (RFM) cross tube design, first developed for the TX, allows TiLite to incorporate one piece side frames into it's newest line of folding chairs. This innovation increases performance by reducing frame flex because the side frames are welded together, not bolted. TiLite's RFM cross tubes also feature snap in seat saddles that lock into place, helping the 2GX to achieve near rigid chair performance.
