Unlike rigid orthotics that put patients at risk, the soft foam Heelift AVO prevents injury to the other leg while offloading the heel in the same way as the original Heelift. The semi-rigid polypropylene brace is designed to provide the best possible control for the ankle's position and motion, while also allowing for limited weight bearing.
Heelift AFO is available in SMOOTH or CONVOLUTED FOAM. The Heelift AFO has a non slip traction sole that allows limited weight bearing while preventing slippage. This feature is ideal for transfers from beds, wheelchairs, commode – anywhere!
Like all Heelift products the Heelift AFO can be washed safely in a net or mesh laundry bag and can be autoclaved for sterility.
